Welcome to HI Gjøvik Hovdetun!
HI Gjøvik Hovdetun is a charming hostel beautifully located at the edge of the Fastland recreational area. Right outside the door you’ll find the Hovdetjernet lake, tennis courts, and hiking trails. In summer you can swim, play tennis, or enjoy long walks in lush surroundings. In winter, the ski slopes, cross-country tracks, and other winter activities are just a short walk away.
We offer single rooms, twin and quadruple rooms with private bathrooms, as well as detached cabins of various sizes accommodating up to six people. Dormitory beds are also available. A breakfast buffet is always included, and for those who prefer cooking, a guest kitchen is at your disposal. Guests also have access to the dining room and lounge with fireplace – complete with a truly one-of-a-kind view.
Free parking and Wi-Fi are included for all guests.
HI Gjøvik Hovdetun is located just one kilometer from Gjøvik town center, with easy access to culture, shopping, and nightlife.
