Higking suggestion: Hårskallen mountain top in Levanger

Is this Innherreds best view? Hårskallen mountain top is Levangers highest point with a fabulous view of Innherred.

This is a nice walk in relatively easy terrain with a visible trail all the way. This great summit hike starts at Skallstuggu, where you can also park your car. The trail is marked and easily accessible with rocks in some places. The summit is exposed to the weather, so remember extra clothes.

The hike takes about 1 hour to the top and is 1.8 km one way. You can choose to return the same way. Or if you want a longer walk, there is great hiking terrain further inland in the Frolfjellet mountain, over to Grønningen and  lake Tomtvatnet.

Skallstuggu is open for food service every Sunday if they are not rented out.

Directions
From E6 in Levanger, follow signage to Okkenhaug. Follow FV 128 for 9 km. Turn to right towards Skallstuggu. Toll road with card payment. Follow the road to the parking at Skallstuggu.
