Hike along the old water pipe in Sauda
Enjoy the beautiful view of Sauda while hiking along the old water pipe.
The hike starts from "Varden", close to Saudahallen, in Sauda town centre.
The path passes through Tangen and follows the road up to the old water pipe. There is limited parking available here.
The path is marked with yellow signs. There are some rocks on the path that may be slippery on the way down. Once you've reached the arch, it's easy to head over to the bunker. Follow the marked path a bit further up before turning left and heading back down towards Kjedalsmoen and the road back to the town centre.
You also have the option to follow the marked trail further up to Tempreidnuten for a fantastic viewpoint over Sauda and the fjord. This is challenging hike.
