Dovrefjell - Along the Pilgrim´s Trail

A hiking tour in one of Norway’s most spectacular mountain areas. Numerous important historical events have taken place in this area.
The tour is literally a walk through Norwegian history, combined with spectacular scenery. This tour covers part of the Gudbrandsdalen path, the longest pilgrim route in Norway. This used to be the main road to Nidaros, todays Trondheim, during the Middle Ages. Walk in the footsteps of thousands of pilgrims and be inspired by a diverse nature, cultural landscape and high mountain terrain.
The Dovrefjell National Park is also famous for its rich flora and fauna.

This is a nice tour for those who want to combine hiking in highlands with a good level of comfort. You stay in nice, private guesthouses and your luggage is transferred from one accommodation to the next.
The tour is suitable for people with normal/good shape. You should be accustomed to walking in mountain areas and all kinds of weather.
