Hike to Dønhaug, round trip from the boat dock
This is a nice hike suitable for families. You walk past grazing animals, old characteristic housing, and a beach where you can take a swim.

Recommended adviceAlternative access to the route can be by the gas station, the camping area, the Spar grocery shop, or Uskedal school. It is steep for wheelchairs and baby carriages from Kjærlandsvegen to Dønhaug. An alternative choice of route might be to turn towards Dønhaug gardsbarnehage (Farm Kindergarden) and use the road above the barn. Be cautious when crossing highway 48.
OverviewFollow the signs from the marina. This is a nice and easy hike, passing a swimming area (beach), grazing animals, and old, characteristic housing. From Dønhaug there is a wide view over the town, Storsundet, Skorpo and the Hardanger Fjord. This hike is suited for getting to know Uskedal and the surrounding area.
