Hike to Englafjell from Fet, Uskedalen
A demanding but amazing hike to Englafjell mountain. From the top you'll have a spectacular view.

Start and stopping pointFollow highway 48 from the parking lot approx. 300 meters beyond the bridge to the intersection with the sign to Musland. Walk along the beautiful stone fence belonging to Kapteinsgården for approx. 100 meters to where the road turns left. The marking starts at the barn in the middle of this turn.
ParkingBy the old school in the town center. Large parking lot with an information board for Uskedalen.
MarkingThere is an information board at the starting point by the barn. T markings, signs and cairns.
GradingBlack. Challenging hike, four boots according to the DNT system.

Recommended adviceThe forest road at the beginning of the hike can be soft and wet. See also the route description for the alternative route "Englafjell from Eik" which opens for a nice round trip.
OverviewFrom the start at the farm, walk past the farm yard through the gate and onto the forest road. Follow the forest road for approx. 300 meters. Turn left and follow the markings through a dense spruce forest, increasingly steep.
Above the tree line, there is a beautiful view which becomes more spectacular the higher you get.
