Altitude difference 50 – 271 metres. Total time One hour there and back. Overview After 50 metres, the path ascends steeply through a spruce wood. Above the spruce wood, there is a lovely view into the Hardangerfjord and out to the Sunnhordland basin. Follow the signs along the gentle ascent to the lean-to at the top. Recommended advice The path is rather marshy in places so wear appropriate footwear. There are also a number of alternative ascents and descents to Kaldestadåsen. Study the walking map and use your imagination to put together interesting walks.
