Starting and finishing point
Kaldestad, at the turn-off from the RV main road for the southern road down to Prestnes.
A few parking spots at the starting point.
Information board at the starting point.

Blue. Moderate, two boots pursuant to the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) system.
50 – 271 metres.
One hour there and back.
After 50 metres, the path ascends steeply through a spruce wood. Above the spruce wood, there is a lovely view into the Hardangerfjord and out to the Sunnhordland basin. Follow the signs along the gentle ascent to the lean-to at the top.
The path is rather marshy in places so wear appropriate footwear. There are also a number of alternative ascents and descents to Kaldestadåsen. Study the walking map and use your imagination to put together interesting walks.
