Recommended advice

Remember to bring your fishing gear. A fishing license is not required. You might catch small trouts for free in Myrdalstjøa. There are two good quality rowing boats for rent at Lake Myrdalsvatnet, contact the Tourist Office. The lake has an abundance of fish and a trolling trip is recommended. You should also take the opportunity to enter the beautiful beach at the end of the lake to experience the wilderness atmosphere there.
