Start and stopping point The parking lot. Parking Drive past the traffic roundabout at Tofte and turn towards Høylandsbygd. The parking lot is located at the right side of the main road 100 meters past the intersection to Halsnøy Verft. Marking Information Board by the parking lot. Signs and T Markings Grading Blue Easy hike, one boot according to the DNT system. Difference in altitude 25 - 193m AMSL Estimated time 1,5 hour round trip Recommended advice This is basically a nice and dry route. You may wish to visit the view point Langheller, which is 15 meters to the left where the terrain flattens towards the top. Overview From the parking lot, walk along the main road towards the south for approx. 200 meters. Turn right in the first intersection and follow the farm road to approx. 100 meters before the end of Skato. From here follow the path up to the left across the grassy hill. At the flat top of Svartaberg, there are some solid rest benches where you may enjoy both a picnic and a beautiful view while your children play.
