Hike up to Kattnakken - sherpa stairs
Along the way up the sherpa stairs you will have views of Huglo, Tysnes, the Kvinnherad mountains, Halsnøy and Borgundøy. You can even spot Folgefonna glacier.
By Fjellstova or Heio/the road barrier. From E39 you can drive towards Fjellgardane and Lundsseter from Ådlandsvatnet or from Førlandskrysset (Rommetveit).

StartThis hike starts at the entrance to Heio / the road barrier
Follow the road past the road barrier for a bit, before you turn left and walk up the Sherpa stairs and Fossabrekko. Along the way you will have great views of Sunnhordland, like Huglo, Tysnes, the Kvinnherad mountains, Halsnøy and Borgundøy. You can also spot the Folgefonna glacier from here. There are about 500 steps before you reach the top of Fossabrekko. There is an area with benches along the way where you can have a break.
You can combine this hike with a hike to Stovegolvet mountain if you are interested.
