Overview

Frøylandsvatn Lake. The path (7–20 km) passes through beautiful terrain, varying from the open grazing land of Jæren to dense spruce forest. The trail along the lake is ideal for the whole family regardless of the season.

Sandtangen is a wooded recreational area close to the centre of Bryne in the south end of Frøylandsvatn lake, with walking trails, area for playing ball games, picinic area and playground. Suitable for prams and pushchairs.

Between Bryne and Kvernalad along the road Fv 505 is Njåskogen which is good woodland with good illuminated paths. Easy access to Midgardsormen, the bridge across the lake. Good parking. Adapted for wheel chairs. 3,2 km trails.

Access: At Bryne, from Sandtangen by the Time Town Hall. Parking available. At Kleppe,  from Klepp station. Transport: Train to Klepp or Bryne or bus 52 to Bryne. The path lies next to railway part of the route.
