Hiking Fjærland

  • Fjærland, FJÆRLAND

Fjærland is a well-known and popular hiking area. Right from the end of the 1800s, the village has been visited precisely to enjoy the silence, the tranquility and all the unique mountain tours the glacier village has to offer.

There are several simple marked tours here, but also an eldorado for those who want to take the day trip on one of the high, steep mountain peaks.
Fjærland is not plagued by mass tourism, and if you go to one of the unmarked peaks, you will not meet anyone other than a sheep, a cow or perhaps a deer. Or if you're really lucky, you'll meet a local.
The mountain can be dangerous, and it is recommended that you use a guide/expert if you want to climb one of the unmarked peaks.
Fjærland Guiding, mainly has local guides who grew up in the local area and know the tours.
Fjærland Guiding have a varied selection of mountain tours for young and old, and at different levels. The tours vary from 2 to 8 hours. We are happy to tailor tours if you wish. Just get in touch! Also use ,UT.no, to find the trip you want to go.
