Hiking suggestion: Hanshelleren Cave in Flatanger

Hanshelleren is one of the best places in the world for rock climbing,
and home to one the most difficult climbing routes in the world.
This large cave is a majestic sight on foot, with a good view of the
ocean. From the parking area, follow the gravel road westward to the
signposted start of the trail. Follow the trail to Hanshelleren. Approx.
1,1 km each way. Please walk outside cultivated farmland.

Directions: 

From FV17, turn off onto FV766 towards Flatanger. Just before Lauvsnes,
turn left and follow the road over the bridge towards Vik. Follow this
road for 4,5 km, then signs to Strøm. Park in signposted parking area.
