Access: Take county road 32 from Skien to Siljan, turning off at the sign for “Idrettsanlegg” [sports centre]. Continue to the end of the road and park in the large car park. You can also take the Grenlandsekspressen express bus or local bus P7 to Holtesletta syd bus stop. From there, continue for 250 m towards Skien, turn on to Industrivegen and continue right to the end.

Description of hike: The hike starts from the water tower at Holtesletta. There is a tractor road from the car park up to the illuminated ski trail and ski arena. Then turn right and follow the illuminated ski trail. After passing the intersection with the footpath to Fiskevekkåsen, turn right at the next intersection towards Holmfjell. Follow the waymarked footpath to the viewpoint. After the intersection, you pass an area of marshy ground, following the path around it.
