Description of hike: The hike starts from Siljan church, heading towards Snurråsen. Go right at the first intersection. Pass Roligheten farm and continue to the right on a tractor road/track along the elevation. Go right at the intersection, over a bridge and on up the hillside to Åstjønn lake. The footpath follows the south side of the lake then continues north-east, across a felling patch. Another footpath coming down from Bjørneskottet meets the footpath in the felling patch above the lake. Continue north to a valley. To reach the viewpoint, follow the valley until you round the mountain heading west and continue up to the summit.
