Åmli offers numerous and varied nature experiences. Åmli Tourist Forum has signposted and marked 20 different walking routes in the municipality.

Åmli has a wide range of beautiful areas for short or longer hikes. At the start of each trail, there are information boards and signs with the name of the trail and a symbol indicating the degree of difficulty. The trails are marked with a blue mark on the terrain and at the head of each trail there is a box with a guest book and a punch to mark your trail card.
