Hiking trials: Skiptvet rural museum to the stone cabin in Skiptvet

A nice roundtrip where you walk in residential areas, along streams and fields, but mostly in the forest. You will then be rewarded halfway when you arrive at Steinhytta / the stone cabin, where you can sit down and take a break. Stienhytta is under construction. From ancient times there was a stone cabin here where a family with many children lived. It is a big job to get the cabin back up, and it is a funny spectacle with a stone cabin in the forest.
The trip
Drive to Skiptvet center and park at the sports hall. From here you walk towards Skiptvet rural museum. Signs are set up all the way, so it is easy to follow the route. Then you just follow the signs along the cultural heritage trail.
From the sportshall you go via the Skiptvet rural museum, Torget, Koffeldveien and to Brekkelia. From here down to Finndalen. Once you have passed the bridge you can choose which direction you want to go. We chose to continue along the stream. I think it might be the easiest in terms of finding your way back. Because of felling wood, it was a bit of a challenge to find the blue marks at the very end.
