The tower on Jonsrudåsen, also called Skiptvet Varde (207 moh) is a tower with a great view. Jonsrudåsen is the highest point in Skiptvet municipality, and it is well worth taking the trip up.

Directions:
From Askim turn right at Libru towards Spydeberg (national road 122) Then the first junction to the left into Langliveien. Follow the road for a long time. Park on "Midtskauen" along Langliveien (some distance after the barrier, on the right side) and walk the path and path up to the tower on Vardåsen, on the map it says Jonsrudåsen. From the barrier there is a marked blue trail. It takes about 15-20 min in normal walk to the tower.
