You can start the trip to Roholtfjell at “Heia” right at the parking lot to the shooting range. The trail is marked with a “T”. At the last ascent right under the top, ropes have been laid out in two places.
Great view from the top
From Roholtsfjell you have a great view over large parts of West Telemark to the mountains on the Hardanger mountain plateau and Mount Gausta, as well as the lakes Vråvatn / Nisser and Bandaksvassdraget. On the trail you pass the beautiful mountain lake Presttjørn which can be a hiking destination in itself.
Opportunity to fish
Lake Presttjørn is a water rich in trout and is part of the fishing license scheme of Vrådal Fiskelag. More information can also be found at www.ut.no.
Parking
There is a large parking lot on the east side of RV 41. The marked trail starts from the parking lot. Parking is free of charge.
