Guided historic brewery tour in Tromsø
The tour takes place in the former production buildings of Mack Brewery in central Tromsø. The main brewery was relocated after 135 years of production at this location, and the historic premises are now used to present the company’s development and local history.
The experience begins with a 15-minute film about the establishment of the brewery in the 1800s and the role Tromsø’s fishing industry played in the city’s development.
After the film, a guide will take you through parts of the historic building and microbrewery. You will learn about the history of the premises, the ingredients used in the production process and how brewing methods have developed over time.
The tour concludes at the brewery shop.
Important age requirement
The minimum age for the entire tour is 18 years. Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to enter, including when accompanied by an adult.
Valid identification may be required.
