Homannsberget Camping

Homannsberget Camping is a family-friendly campsite idyllically located by the Drammen Fjord, about one kilometre south of Svelvik town centre. The campsite is part of a beautiful cultural landscape surrounded by orchards and strawberry fields. Freshly picked, sweet strawberries are an essential part of the enjoyable camping life in Svelvik.

Homannsberget Camping is an excellent starting point for day trips to attractions and activities throughout Eastern Norway. The city of Drammen is nearby, and Oslo is only an hour's drive away. The local area offers many good fishing and swimming spots, and the forests provide wonderful nature experiences year-round. It is just a 500-meter walk to the nearest grocery store and a 15-minute walk to Svelvik town centre. Svelvik is described as Norway's northernmost southern town, with charming wooden buildings and a guest harbour.

At Homannsberget Camping, we cater to all types of campers, whether you're in a caravan, motorhome, or tent. Our spacious grounds, set on lush grass lawns, offer a comfortable stay for both short and long-term visitors. All our pitches come with electricity, and our service facility boasts ample toilet and shower capacity. Guests can also make use of our laundry room and a small kitchen. For your convenience, we have stations for emptying chemical toilets and wastewater located at several points on the site.
