Home at last - A tribute to Steely Dan // Teaterfabrikken in Ålesund
Home At Last consists of local musicians, all with a big interest in the music from the legendary American band Steely Dan.
Steely Dan is a Grammy winning American band that was established in 1972. Donald Fagen and Walter Becker started the band and were the only recurring members from 1974 and until Becker died in 2017. The band reached the top of popularity in the 70s and 80s. In that period they released seven albums with elements from rock, funk, R&B, jazz fusion and pop.
Home At Last takes Steely Dan's music serious and wish to perform it as authentical as possible. Bandet received good critiques after the concerts they had in Sykkylven the autumn of 2021. Two full houses and a wonderful atmosphere. They perform songs from most of Steely Dan's albums.
