Traktørstedet Landsstryker'n serves dishes made of meat and fish from the local area. The coast of Trøndelag is known for its rich deposits of delicacies such as crayfish and scallops. It produces great quantities of salmon and crab. Hitra have a particularly large and sustainable deer tribe, and the wild sheep are grazing on the islets, which gives the meat an unmistakable taste of the coast. Several of our small-scale food producers have award winning food both cheese, meat and seafood products.
Our restaurant uses only the best ingredients from the area to recreate the traditional cuisine of the area, but also more modern dishes.
