Horse riding Alm Gard Sognefjord

Join a guided horse riding tour from Alm Gård in Feios with Lynghorses which is one of Norway's 3 national old Viking breeds. With spectacular views you can enjoy the day on a horseback.

You can choose between a short trip of 3-4 hours, a longer trip of 7-8 hours or you can rent a horse without a guide.
Start point is Alm Gard in Feios.
The short trip takes 3-4 hours over Dregane through different types of landscapes and with a view of the fjord. There will be a short break where the horses can rest a bit. The trip goes back over a narrow asphalt road. The trip is for a minimum of 2 people and costs NOK 600 p.p. For 3 people, the trip costs NOK 500. p.p. and for 4 people NOK 450.
A longer trip takes 7-8 hours from the farm to Kongshaug with spectacular views of the fjord. A memory for life! This trip is for a minimum of 2 people and costs 1,000 kroner. p.p. lunch at Kalbakk is included. For 3 people the price is NOK 900 p.p. and for 4 people NOK 750.
By agreement, the horses can be rented out without a guide and the price is NOK 250. per hour.
The small fjord village Feios is located in Vik municipality. If you come from the other side of the fjord, take a ferry from Dragsvik or Hella to Vangsnes. If you come over Vikafjell mountain, drive through Vik center and continue to Vangsnes. Continue 10 minutes further towards Feios and Fresvik. After the "Feios" sign, take the first to the right up. After about 3 KM, when you see the waterfall, turn left. You come to a square white house, take the hill down to the left here. Welcome!
