Join tours into the mountains with spectacular views, including sights like Skogshorn and Jotunheimen. Choose between two exciting options to explore this fantastic region.
For those who prefer a short horseback ride, a 45-minute journey through forest and high mountain terrain awaits, offering views of Hallingdalen. An experienced guide will accompany you on foot, and this tour is open to both experienced riders and beginners. Small children are warmly welcome, provided that an adult is present and leases the horse.
If you're seeking a longer adventure, you can opt for the extended horseback ride lasting approximately 110 minutes, featuring effective riding through the mountainous areas of Golsfjellet. This tour is led by a guide riding their own horse. Please note that participants on this tour must be capable of riding independently.
For the safety of all participants, wearing a riding helmet is mandatory, regardless of the chosen tour. Free helmet rentals are available on-site. We also welcome the little ones to a special children's horseback ride, where they can lease a Shetland pony for a short, enjoyable experience in the saddle for about 10 minutes. All horseback riding originates right outside Storefjell Resort, and we look forward to sharing these unforgettable moments with you.
