History, art, food and wine
In historic surroundings on Jeløy in Moss, barely 45 minutes from Oslo, is the stately Hotel Refsnes Gods by Classic Norway Hotels. Ever since 1767, hospitality has been at the heart of the estate and the place has been at the center of gatherings in the district. Here you are most welcome to celebrate a wedding, enjoy a romantic weekend or to get a professional refresher.
The place's beautiful location, with its magnificent garden and view of the Oslo Fjord, has probably contributed to the hotel receiving so much attention over the years. In particular, the landscape and the distinctive vegetation have attracted many, including great artists such as Edward Munch, Peder Balke, Hans Gude and many more. Today, the hotel has over 400 original works of art.
Restaurant Munch is located on the first floor of the old main building, where dishes made from good local ingredients are served.
The wine cellar on the property is unique in a Norwegian context. Here are the thick brick walls and the vaulted roof from when the house was built, and with a wine selection that is one of Norway's largest.
The hotel also has a bar, function rooms, conference rooms and 61 hotel rooms.
Our guests have free wifi and parking. There is a charging station for Tesla and electric cars.
