In Norse tracks to Sauda's widest fjord view.

The starting point is at Risvoll school in Saudasjøen. The path passes the idyllic Fosstveit dam (NB! new path) and then follows the road about 100m before you turn left onto a newly prepared path. Walk further up towards Brekkestølsbråtet, 300 masl. From the cabin field on Brekkestølsbråtet, it carries into the valley a slightly flatter section of gravel road, before the climb really picks up as you approach Hovlandsstølen, 450 masl. From here, and up to the summit at 930 masl, you ascend 787 stone steps constructed by Nepalese Sherpas.

At the summit, you can enjoy the view from the panoramic cabin. Here, you can also spend the night in a hammock.
