Join us for an evening you won't soon forget, here we offer Sami Storytelling, a 3-course sami inspired dinner and joik and a chase for the perfect spot to see the northern lights appear in the sky above us.

Join us for a Northern Lights Chase Experience from Skibotn. Skibotn is well known to be a perfect spot for watching the "Dansing Lady" in the night sky.

This is due to climatic conditions that make the place one of those with the least amount of rainfall during the year. The clouds often open up when you get to Skibotn and the Skibotn Valley and a cloudless sky gives you a better chance of seeing the northern lights. The hunting for the lady will be in Skibotnvalley. Close to the borderline of Finland

We will take you on an Arctic journey that you will never forget.

We will welcome you to our Lavvo ( Sami tent) just outside of the hotel where you will learn how the Sami traditionally interpreted the constellations on the night sky and listen to stories about "Guovssahasa" (Northern Lights). Storytelling by the bonfire about the Sami people who have lived here in the Arctic for generations, will follow. The storytelling will take place in a real Sami tent called Lavvo.

The 3-course dinner will be served inside our heated lavvo.

Once your hosts have found a scenic spot, you will take off from the sami basecamp and hunt for the Northern Lights.

We search the polar sky for the Northern Lights and capture them in photos.

If the dancing lady does not appear, or the weather conditions change, we may need to move on and continue the chase.
