If you are interested in the Northern lights and local history, then the city of Northern lights will be perfect place for you. Northern lights safari is available from September to March in Alta. With our private minibus, we go out to hunt for the magnificent Northern Lights. With maximum seven people it becomes a great little group, as we take on the Northern Lights chase.
The trip starts from Alta center/Scandic Hotel at 7:30 pm and from Sorrisniva at 7:00 pm. The trip last for 3-4 hours depending on the weather and chance to see the Northern lights. Due to the aurora and weather forecast our guides take you to the best spot to see the northern lights. Usually we don't need to drive far to see the lights, if the weather is good. Our guide has good knowledge about Alta and will also tell you stories from the places you are going.
We recommend to wear warm clothing for the best experience.
Hot beverage and a snack is severed during the trip.
For larger groups and other questions we recommend to contact us directly: info@sorrisniva.no
