Hustad Church is a long church in Inderøy Municipality in Nord-Trøndelag dating from 1150. The church, which is built of stone and seats 150, was built around the middle of the 12th century. It is owned by the Society for the Protection of Norwegian Ancient Monuments and is not a parish church.

Hustad Church is the smallest of the protected Trøndelag churches owned by the society, and has not been altered or restored since the society took over ownership in 1887. It is therefore uncommonly well preserved both inside and out, with elements from the Middle Ages, 17th, 18th and early 19th centuries.

The church is surrounded by “Kjerkeplank”, a cog-joined fence that probably dates from the 17th century. This type of fence is rare in Norway, and is the only preserved fence of its type in Trøndelag.

Hustad Church was built in the same period as several other stone churches in Innherred, built in the same style and with the same material (Mære Church, Sakshaug Church, Stiklestad in Verdal, and Alstadhaug Church in Skogn). The archbishops of Nidaros (Trondheim) were behind this major investment to replace old wooden churches in the district with stone churches at that time.

Hustad church is open for walk-in visitors in the summer season for besøkende i sommersesongen.
