The hike is moderate with continuous accent uphills approx 350 m high where the frozen underworld awaits. The tour itself is 7,5km long in total. The terrain is a bit uneven and we recommend that your are in normal physical shape. You need to wear proper clothing according to the weather conditions on the day of the tour.

We provide you with walking sticks and micro spikes/crampons as well if you need. The walking speed is always adjusted to match the group dynamic. To experience the ice in this way is one of Svalbard's most characteristic features and cannot be found anywhere else in Europe.

IMPORTANT: Since it may be a bit challenging to get inside an ice cave you cannot have claustrophobia and/or back problems.

Minimum 2 guests / Minimum age 8 years.
