Fjellsentralen is run by mountain guide (UIAGM/IVBV/IFMGA)
Jørgen Aamot who lives in Hemsedal. Fjellet Kaller offers a
two day ice climbing course and guiding on frozen waterfalls
in Hemsedal. Climbing experience or an one day
introduction course is necessary for guided tour.

is the first complete guide for ice and winter climbing in
Hemsedal. During the early 1970’s, Hemsedal became the
birth place of ice climbing in Norway. In this guide,
you will find descriptions of more than 100 ice
and winter climbing routes in the Hemsedal area.
There are also interviews with renowned ice
climbers, a comprehensive photo gallery and
suggestions for climbing in the Golsjuvet area.
All route descriptions are in Norwegian and
English. GPS coordi nates are provided for each
route. Hemsedal Ice is for sale at Hemsedal
Tourist Office, Skandinavisk Høyfjellsutstyr and
other sports shops in Hemsedal.
