The cabins at the gate to Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella National Park have great locations with access to fishing lakes and cross country ski trails just off the doorstep. Trout and char of very good quality are bountiful. Explore the Norwegian winter scenery by skiing to the Norwegian Geographical Midpoint, and into the magnificent National Park.
Lake Skjækervatnet, just off Skjækerosstua cabin is located in stunning surroundings and with possibilities for catching copious amounts of trout. Lake Lågvatnet by Lågvassbua cabin also comes highly recommended. In addition, there are many small lakes in the area - you might get lucky! Ice drills available in the cabins, but no ice fishing gear.

The cabins have fully equipped kitchens, pillows and duvets but at Skjækerhytta cabin sleeping bags must be brought. There are dog cages and ice drills at the cabins.
Snow mobile transportation is not included, but is available on request.
