Ice fishing with a guide in Lierne

Few things taste as good as fresh fish that you catch yourself. Ice fishing is a thrilling experience, and an exciting acitivity that everyone can try. Get started with ice fishing with our two hour guided fishing "school" and ice fishing tour.  Bait and equipment included. This is a good actiivty for groups of all ages.

First we make our own fishing rods. This is yours to keep after the tour. Then we place your new gear on one of our excelllent fishing spots on the ice. We start fishing, and hope for good "fiskelykke" or "fishing luck". If you stay in one of our cabins you can leave your gear on the ice until the next day.

Your guide is Tommy Ingulfsvann, born and raised in Lierne. He knows everything there is to know about ice fishing gear and techniques. He will make a campfire and arrange for seating for everyone. We serve a hot drink and some snacks during the tour.
