Inderøy Slakteri is an old tradistional family business with over 75 years experience in the meat industry. They are passionate about carrying forward tradistions and have therefor chosen to retain the old company name, even though they no longer operate as a butchery. All their products are developed and carried out from old, traditional recipies. The highest quality and craftmanship is at their no 1 priority.
Inderøy sodd - Trønder culinary culture at its best.
Their main product is of course Inderøy Sodd; party food consisting of beef and mutton, which are cooked, cleaned and cut into cubes. The fine broth they get from the boiling of the meat , is then salted and spiced with their "secret" spice mix. Additionally, they add their distinctive meatballs, which are made from prime beef and mutton. The meatballs are infused with milk and cream to accentuate the good and round flavor. The recipe is the same today as it was generations ago - and always will be.
In addition, they produce cured meat, minced meat products, meatballs, patties and sausages amongst other things. Everything is, of course, based on local culinary traditions!
