Introduction to ski touring – guided trip for alpine skiers
Great fun for those seeking challenges, an adrenaline rush and wanting to try new things!Have you ever tried to make your way up a mountain to ski down?To join this trip you need to have good alpine skiing skills, we show you how to make the way up.
On this trip you can try touring skis and challenge yourself to try something new! Your guide/ski instructor will explain to you how to use the equipment and about avalanche safety. Then you will make your way up the hill, before taking a small break at the summit and the best part of all - a well-earned descent!
Be ready for a new challenge, a whole lot of fun, and a life changing experience: once you try off-piste skiing you will never want to go back!
* To join this trip you need to have good alpine skiing skills so that you can ski down off-piste. This means you need to be comfortable to skiing on red slopes on alpine parks. If you do not, we recommend that you join Tromsø Outdoor Cross country ski trip for beginners (click to open)
Included: guide, transport to and from Tromsø city centre (ca. 25 minutes each way), touring skis, ski boots, ski poles, skins, helmet, goggles, hot drink and sweet snack
NOT included: winter clothes are not included in the price but can be rented separately through our rental center prior to the trip
Group size: min. 2, max 7 people
Minimum age: 12 years old
Grade: easy but experience in alpine skiing is required
