Travel time from Trondheim to Frøya is approximately 2.5 hours by car, but there are also good possibilities for public transport by speedboat and bus.
Frøya offer a variety of activities for both groups and individuals. On Titran, southwest on Frøya, the buildings still resemble those of the Golden Age. Located on Bogøyvær is "Supen" Pub". This is a popular diner with a big influx of boaters throughout the whole summer season. The ferry docks right next to the pub.
On Sula, you can spend the night at the lighthouse keeper`s residence located next to Sula lighthouse. Here, you will get first-hand experience on what it`s like to live so close to the wild nature. "Terna Brygge" offer good, homemade food right on the seashore.

Furthest north of the islands in Frøya lies the idyllic fishing village Halten, where you find Halten lighthouse with accommodations during the summer months of June, July and August.
The speedboat to Halten drives through Froan nature reserve and conservation, which is known for its nesting areas for birds, seals and mammals in a beautiful coastal landscape. There have also been observations of nesting sea eagles.
