Iungsdalshytta is a part of the project "Local food and food culture at DNT's tourist lodges". This project will lift the local food and food traditions in the area through the use of local products and producers. The traditional recepies will reinforce the character of each tourist lodge.
This food here is a short-travelled as possible. You will be served trout from local fishing waters, sour cream porridge and butter made from the mountainfarm's animals, cured meat and much more that will make your tastebuds go crazy.
A mountain buffet will be served also be every Sunday in the stone hut every sunday in July and August. Call Iungsdalshytta to make a reservation and book a boat hike unless you prefer the magnificent hike from the parking lot at Toviken.
