Jostedal Hotel Kafe & Bar serves a varied selection of hot and cold dishes. With a focus on traditional home cooking, and to a large extent produce from the own farm.

Would you like to taste perhaps Norway's best meatballs? At Jostedal Hotell you can smell freshly cooked meatballs made by Laila. On a plate you will be served large and fine meatballs, roast pork, steamed vegetables, potatoes, lovely brown sauce and cranberry jam! 

In the cafe, you are served the day's meal, which can be veal steak, reindeer steak, beef stew with vegetables and potatoes. Otherwise, you can choose from the a la carte menu such as hamburger or pizza. What about dessert? Cheesecake, ice cream, fresh berries and other types of cakes.

The newly restored smørstova from the early 1800s is perfect for special events. Jostedalen is probably the best place to be if you are interested in nature and outdoor life. It is enough to mention ice tours on Nigardsbreen, kayaking on Lake Styggevatnet, or nice trips to one of the crags in the mountains around Jostedalen.
