Jotunheimen cross-country trail is stretching through gentle forest areas and rough mountain terrain, from the area north of Lemonsjøen, westwards to Gjende and the Jotunheimen National Park.
The tracks are always well prepared by machine or scooter, and marked to ensure safety at all times.
If you are lucky, you can experience both reindeer and moose crossing the ski tracks. Take your time to enjoy the enchanted countryside and listening to the silence.
Along the route, you stay at traditional family runned Mountain Lodges, Lemonsjø Fjellstue & Hyttegrend, Bessheim Fjellstue and the small historic Hindsæter Hotel
We also promise you some extraordinary food experiences. With access to Norwegian wild gems like reindeer, moose, deer and trout, an authentic culinary adventure is waiting for you.
