KJERRINGØY
Karl Erik Harr-Museet AS
Ever since the 1960s, Karl Erik Harr has been one of Norway's foremost neo-romantic artists. He works in a romantic realism with figurative, effective images of, among other things, northern Norwegian nature and folk life.
Karl Erik Harr was born in Harstad, lives in Oslo, but from 1978 has also lived on Kjerringøy where in 2019 he opened his own museum. The building itself is an experience and with an exhibition that Harr himself changes every year. He has a great life's work that we proudly show off. The museum is located in the center of Kjerringøy and is part of the 3-in-1 package for art and culture on Kjerringøy.
Opening hours from June 1st to September 1st are from 11 AM to 5 PM.
