Kayak Rentals at Preikestolen BaseCamp

Preikestolen BaseCamp, which is idyllically located near the shore of Refsvatnet lake and the main trail to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), is just 30 minutes from Stavanger. As a guest at the BaseCamp, you can enjoy a variety of land and water-based outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and lake paddling.  

Preikestolen BaseCamp's single-person kayaks offer you a way to explore Refsvatnet lake without the distraction of motorised boat traffic. Learn to master kayaking while enjoying views of the surrounding mountains. The BaseCamp's kayaks are of the more stable variety, making them well-suited for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. Life jackets (personal floatation devices) and paddles are included in the rental price. 

Upon arrival at Preikestolen BaseCamp, please pick up your rentals at the Adventure Center, which is located near the trailhead to Preikestolen.  

Minimum age for use of kayaks:10 Years   Capacity per kayak: 1 Person  Season: April – September 

Price: NOK 300 for first two hours + NOK 100 per additional hour  

Please also note:   – All online boat rentals must be registered at least 1 hour prior to the start time    – Children under 12 years old must always be accompanied by an adult   – Children under 16 years old must be under adult supervision at all times
