Kayak tour on the Lyngenfjord with Lyngsfjord Alperein
Experience the Lyngenfjord on this three hour kayak tour with Roar. Roar is a certified kayak guide and sami storyteller who will give you a real experience of the region.
The kayak tour starts in the southern end of the Lyngenfjord, called Storfjorden.
We start in Elvevoll. We might change place, due to weather conditions.
After a safety instruction, we will head out for a two hour padle trip. Depending on the weather and participants, we will pass by some of the finest places in the inner area of the Lyngenfjord. At some point we will make a landing, make a bonfire and enjoy some bonfire coffee. If you bring your own food, you can warm it on the fire.
We recommend that everyone has a had basic kayak paddling courses (“Våttkort”), for a smoother experience. This is not compulsory and we will make sure you get good instructions and feel safe during the trip.
Included: - Kayak with safety equipment, oar and dry suit
- Certified guide

Bring: - Dress warm
- Food for the bonfire
Duration: We will padle for ca two hours. The whole tour takes about 3 hours.
We recommend the tour for guests above the age of 13 years. If you have younger kids with you, just contact us and we will see how we can manage.
We also have som double kayaks for those who do not want to padle on their own or for the youngest.
