Unique small ceramic gallery and home cafe with fantastic view.

Keramikk Kafé Blå was established in the summer of 2019 and you will find it on the outside of Hadseløya, 11 km from Melbu and 15 km from Stokmarknes. Inside the cafe there are 10 seats. Out on the terrace and right on the grass you can also sit and enjoy the view.

I live and work here, Tiina Henriksen, ceramicist and craftsman. The farm here is called Storavik, between the sea and the mountain top Sørennipa (436 masl.) and belongs to the family of my husband for 5 generations.

Here I make utility ceramics: cups, dishes, bowls, etc. I am so fond of nature, animals and birds (here we have lots of them), therefore I have used a lot of natural colors and details from nature in my ceramics. Each product is unique, there are no two completely alike.

In addition to ceramics, we have cakes that are made right here, we are perhaps known for "the world's best Pavlova cake", very good ’’svele“ and apple / rhubarb cake. And there is always something for those who are not so fond of sweet temptations. We use local ingredients - eggs from the farm shop, our own berries and vegetables, fish from the ocean - as much as possible. We have different types of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and of course ice cold soda.

My motto is: More ceramics, less plastic!
