A genuine coastal Sámi smallholding built during the rebuilding period after the Second World War, with boathouses down by the fjord.
Here you can get an introduction to the history and local culture and costumes of coastal sámi. There’s an exciting collection of boats in the big boathouse, with the remains of several Nordland boats and smaller fishing boats. If you wish, you will be guided through the exhibition, but you can also use the digital Vappus guide app, available in Norwegian, Sámi and English.
