About Kongsvingers Golf Club
Kongsvinger's golf club was established on 4 October 1988. After a few years, the first enthusiasts found a suitable cultural landscape for a short-hole course at Strengelsrud, about 8 km south of Kongsvinger. This ended up being a challenging 9-hole course. We see the remains of this course when we drive up from RV2 to the current golf course.

Eventually, the desire for a full-fledged 18-hole course became urgent. Today, all parties are satisfied with the solution and the cooperation between the users of Liermoen has led to the area being used more than ever, summer and winter.
