Kråkenes lighthouse was founded by the Norwegian coastal administrion in 1906 and is located by the Stad ocean. With the North Sea as the nearest neighbour you can get an experience that will take your breath away. Taste the crispy salt water and feel the ocean air from the plateau, 45 metres above sea level. The lighthouse is today leased to the Ytre Nordfjord Turlag, which is under the Norwegian Tourist Association (DNT)
