Kunstnernes Hus Cinema

Cinema that shows film as a form or art
The cinema at Kunstnernes Hus (En: The Artists’ House) screens mainly newer, curated feature films, challenging, current documentaries and films by artists that work both in cinema and in galleries. Additionally, the cinema cooperates with other cultural institutions and festivals.
Kunstnernes Hus established its cinema in 2016 as the first, independent cinema in Oslo with the goal of showing film as a form of art and to build bridges between visual arts and film.
The cinema seats 100 and can be rented for seminars and other events. Food is served in cooperation with Lofthus Samvirkelag.
