Kunstnernes Hus venues

Kunstnernes Hus (EN: The Artists' House) is centrally located with a view towards the Palace Park. The award-winning building is a modern architectural marvel. The venues can be used for anything ranging from lectures, seminars, film screenings, book launches, as well as larger and smaller meetings and gatherings.

The Auditorium (113 m2)is suitable for seminars, meetings, lectures and film screenings. This is an excellent multipurpose room boasting a fully-fledged cinema with a 4K projector with a zoom lens, as well as surround sound.

Atelier Felix can be used for talks, book launches, as well as group activities and activities for children. The name “Felix” comes from the winning proposal of the architects who designed Kunstnernes Hus in 1928. The renovation of the space was designed by Superunion Architects and funded by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.

The Director's room (27 m²) is located between the exhibition spaces on the upper floor. The room has a wonderful view of the Palace Park, comfortable furniture and is suitable for meetings in peace and quiet. Kunstnernes Hus offers alternatives if there is any need for different furnishings or technical equipment.
