To get to the start of the hike, you drives towards Tryggestad 4 km outside hellesylt towards Hornindal. Here you take off to road fv 655 and drives 1.4 km. From here, a dirt road goes up to the left, after 200m you reach a parkinglot for 2-3 cars.
From the parking lot, go west in the middle of Snødalen and aim for Brattbakken, which lies between Kvanngrønibba and Blåfjellet. In the beginning, a tip is to follow the summer hiking path through the forest as the forest is very tense. When you reach the forest, go straight to Brattbakken on foot 1300 and cross this one. The slope is a glacier with a slope of 35 degrees. The hardest part of the trip is the glacier, and there may be cracks you need to watch out for. Equipment for hiking on glacier may be necessary. When you have come up Brattbakken you aim for the top 1587 and get there about 20 hm before you turn north and go up to the top. Be careful not to go too close to the edges as there may be large overhanging blades. The downhill runs follow the same route as up, but will probably stay a little longer as most people use more of the terrain on the downhill.
